The famous Los Sueños Marriott Resort and Marina — one of the best marinas in Costa Rica, with great shopping, fishing charters, restaurants, banking, and personal services — is a scenic drive away. Jacó Beach and Playa Hermosa are both accessible via the same mountain descent.
There’s no shortage of activities nearby: surfing in Hermosa, five different zip line companies, ATV adventures, whitewater rafting on the Tarcoles River, and Costa Rica’s largest waterfall just minutes away. Fishing at Los Sueños, excellent restaurants, and two large nature preserves round out the neighborhood.
The land is well suited for one large mountaintop estate, a subdivision into smaller lots, or even a boutique resort. The climate at this elevation runs about 8 degrees cooler than the humid beachfront below — with views that go on forever.
