Sweat Equity

Sweat equity continues to be an excellent way to increase the value of your home or your land while increasing the marketability.  Fresh curtains, rugs, flowers, local pottery, etc. are great ways to increase the curb appeal.  Even if you do not have the time to do this yourself, you can hire someone for $4 per hour to do many of these things.  Add a couple of traditional Costa Rican leather rocking chairs to your terrace or plant a few fruit trees - these small additions helped to complete a beautiful picture of what it is like to live in this beautiful country.
