What's New in Sámara

Dry season has arrived! Even though an occasional refreshing shower blows through the area, the weather is postcard perfect. High season has arrived and with it the number of travelers, tourists, and return visitors has increased. Some of the best surf of the year is rolling in regularly. The next few months brings some wonderful weather and many exciting local events. Everyone is excited about the holidays and high season.

The MINIPLAZA is now completed and the new tenants are moving in and setting up shop. The Patio Colonial is nearing completion and the tenants are all excited about their new business locations. Paving is in process between Carrillo and Hojancha which will cut down driving time to and from San Jose by about 1/2 hour. We will no longer have to backtrack through Nicoya to access the Taiwan Bridge. The winter potholes are fewer and further between this year thanks to the great work of the road crews.

Our new neighbor, Mel Gibson, has been in town enjoying the people and hospitality of Sámara. We now also have high speed Internet in Sámara! Locals and tourists alike are delighted to be able to drive the fast lane to the Information Highway. Make your plans now to return or visit us for the first time. The upcoming months are some of the most popular. See you on the beach!
